A Persona 3 Tarot Project
About
This project will consist of two parts! The first is The Arcana, a tarot deck representing characters across every iteration of Persona 3 (P3, P3FES, P3P, AND P3R). The second part is The Compendium, a compilation of written works following the theme of exploring the characters in the context of their respective arcana.A minimum of half of the proceeds for this project will be provided to a charity that supplies aid to Palestine. Contributors can opt to donate half or all of their portion of the profits to charity.You can learn more about the project by reading our Master Document below.

Rules & Guidlelines
Contributors must be over the age of 18 to participate. If a contributor is discovered to be lying about their age, they will be removed and barred from participation in future projects.
Contributors found to be engaging in bullying, harassment, or hate speech will only be given one warning to stop. If they persist, the contributor and their work will be removed from the project.
The use of generative AI or the tracing of another artist's work is strictly prohibited. If a contributor is found to be tracing or using AI, they will be immediately removed from the project.
Contributor pieces should be kept secret prior to the completion of the project.

FAQ
Will this project be SFW or NSFW?This project is intended to be SFW. However, participation is limited to those who are over the age of 18. Additionally, due to the nature of the game and its story, mature themes and content can be expected.Will this project include FEMC/Minako/Hamuko/Kotone?FEMC will be included, along with all of her unique social links. We have opted to include characters in the arcana they are represented by in Persona 3 FES/Reload.Will this be a physical product?The Arcana will be printed as a physical card deck, with stretch goals for upgrades and additional printed goods. The Compendium will be made available as a PDF, and one of our stretch goals includes physical printing for the written works.Will the deck and booklet contain spoilers for the story of Persona 3?Yes; some characters are grouped in a way that may indicate their affiliations or plot significance. Characters may also be featured in art or writing that spoils key story events—please keep this in mind if you plan on purchasing this work and would like to avoid spoilers!Will you ship internationally?With our amazing financial mod team, AmaZine, we can ship to any country except for the following:
Russia, Israel, Belarus, Yemen, Syria, North Korea, Afghanistan, and SomaliaAre character pairings allowed?This project will not include any character pairings, as it is intended to be a general tarot deck with artwork focused on one character per card (and an accompanying written piece where applicable).Can I contribute multiple pieces of art/writing?Unfortunately, we would like to avoid this due to the scale of the project. We encourage everyone participating to focus on one piece, to ensure the timeliness of the production process and to avoid artists and writers becoming overwhelmed. Exceptions may be made in extenuating circumstances.Will I be able to share WIPs on social media?We ask that contributors do not share crops and progress images publicly until one month after shipments are sent, to preserve the surprise for those who have purchased the work. However, you are welcome to share your progress within the server with your fellow contributors.Will I receive compensation for my work?We will ensure that each contributor receives a free, full bundle (deck + booklet + merch + stretch goals) for their hard work. If there is enough support for the project, this will also include free shipping for contributors. All remaining funds will be divided evenly amongst the contributors, at which point contributors can opt to donate either 50% or 100% of their portion of the profits to the chosen pro-Palestine charity, which will be announced at a later date.Will I retain the rights to my art/writing?Yes—each contributor holds the rights to their own creations. You are free to do as you please with your work following the conclusion of this project.

Contributor Guidelines
Please reference these guidelines for pieces that will be included in this project. Pitch forms will be provided at a later date, which mods will review for formatting purposes.

| Works should be original pieces that have not been previously posted, exploring a character and their associated arcana. This can be done in many ways, including incorporating a card’s meaning, the story behind the arcana, the readings of the card, etc. |
| Works may include additional characters but must be focused on one specific character—overt character pairings are not permitted. |
| Depictions of dark and mature themes are permitted, as long as it is not beyond the degree of in-game depictions. |
| Inclusion of AI-generated, copied, or stolen work will automatically disqualify you from participating. |

| Card illustrations should be a minimum of 70x120mm, 300 dpi, and CMYK for printing. Please keep in mind that the composition of the cards will be vertical. Art should be in full color, or monochromatic with at least one accent color. Characters may be stylized or abstracted but should remain identifiable, and the composition should account for text indicating the arcana of each card. A simple background is encouraged. Feel free to use other types of tarot cards for inspiration! | Minimum word count is 400, and maximum word count is 2,000 (leeway on the maximum word count is approx. 50 words). A wide variety of writing styles and methods of interpretation are welcome, including but not limited to poetry, short stories, character exploration, and more. Works must be titled and written in English. Mature and dark themes are permitted with proper warnings at the beginning of the work. |
